Why Exercise During
Cancer Treatment Matters
Appropriately prescribed exercise during cancer treatment can help to:
The Research Is Clear
Regular physical activity during and after cancer treatment is associated with lower cancer recurrence and improved survival in several common cancers, particularly breast and colorectal.
Across all cancer types, exercise is consistently linked to reduced treatment related fatigue, improved physical function, better bone and muscle health and improved quality of life.
Exercise is now recognised as a core component of cancer care.

How Sessions Work
Everything we do is personalised to you.
We start from where you are right now and build from there.
Each session is tailored to how your body is feeling on the day, taking into account your energy levels, symptoms and recovery between treatments.
Plans are adjusted week by week and sometimes session by session. So you’re always working with your body, not against it.
1. Free Consultation
A relaxed chat about treatment, side effects, and goals, no pressure.
2. Tailored Strength Plan
Built around your fatigue, symptoms, and confidence at that time of your treatment.
3. Weekly or In Between Cycle Sessions
Progressive strength training adapted to energy levels.
4. Ongoing Support
If you’re tired, we adapt. If you’re strong, we build. You’re always supported.
5. Optional Online Sessions
For clients that, for any reason, feel more comfortable to exercise from their home

Every session is backed by my Level 4 Cancer Rehabilitation Specialist qualification, with exercise tailored to your diagnosis, treatment stage, and how you feel on the day.
Programmes are evidence-led and gently progressed, with careful consideration for the below:

“Every week I felt my strength coming back and my confidence growing.
Lucy tailored every session to how I felt, and I started to realise what my body could still do.
It made such a difference to me, I only wish I’d known about this sooner.”
